Andrew Schmitt

Andrew Schmitt "Animal", age 72 of Huber Heights, passed away October 20, 2019 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 2, 1947 in Lebanon, OH to the late August and Sara (Payne) Schmitt. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Schmitt; daughters, Pamela Schmitt, Melinda Utz and Belinda Frazier; brother, Paul Schmitt.

He is survived by his children: Andi Schmitt, Jackie "Stix" Collett, Johnna Fox, John Schmitt and Matt Utz; grandchildren: Amanda Pulley, Christina Pryor, Tyler Schmitt, Austin Schmitt, Michael Schmitt, Autumn Collett, Sarah Miles, Zach and Zeke Frazier; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Schmitt; sister, Theresa Youngbliut and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Andy was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and also enjoyed old cars, trucks and women! He built his own Harley's and worked and customized his own hot rods.

Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM. His final resting place will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, OH following the service with military honors.
