Andrew Michael Reker

Andrew Michael "Andy" Reker, age 40, of Dayton, passed away June 14, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 10, 1980, the son of Kevin Reker and Tammy Bates.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Debra (Schlenk) Bedell; grandparents, Joanne Thompson, Wayne Zimmer and Harry Reker.
Andy is survived by his loving mother, Tammy (Robert) Bates; father, Kevin Reker; children, Kaitlyn Jae (Michael) Chasteen and Chandler Reker; brothers, Jason (April) Reker and Michael (Heather) Reker; grandparents, Dorothy Reker, Judi Schlenk and Dwight Thompson; many other loving family and friends.
He was employed with Atlas Roofing Company in Franklin, Ohio. In free time, he most enjoyed spending time with his family. Andy was a very hard worker, who was always willing to help anyone. He had a heart of gold and will greatly missed by those who love him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 4:00pm, at Brookville First United Methodist Church, 963 Salem Street, Brookville, Ohio, 45309. Fellowship dinner for those in attendance will be held at the church following the service.
