Andrew M. Merritt, age 79, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
Andrew served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Olga Merritt; children, Shirley (Jeff) Moder, Rick Merritt, Anna (Jeff) Ballard and Michael Merritt; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill Merritt, Bob Merritt, Renee Underwood; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 2pm. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Andrew's memory to Tridia Hospice (329 North Broad Street, Fairborn, OH 45324).
