Andrew Joseph Haas, 24 of Estero Florida was hit by a car and killed on March 25, 2017. Andrew was born on Sept. 29, 1992 in Dayton Ohio. He grew up in Miamisburg, Dayton, and Riverside. He attended Walter E. Stebbins High School but transferred his senior year and graduated from South Ft. Myers High School in Florida.
He had been living in Florida for the past six years and loved it. He worked at Beef O Brady's where he had many friends that loved him...more like family. Andrew was a hard worker, with a good work ethic and took pride in what he did.
As a youngster Andrew loved tennis. He had started playing at six years of age. His Sophomore year he made the Stebbins Varsity tennis team which brought him great joy. Andrew was a nationally ranked player. Andrew loved anything to do with sports, hockey, basketball, football, you name it he could play it or tell you all about it.
A natural when it came to talking to people. Andrew could talk to someone he just met and make them feel at ease, like old friends. A people person for sure. He always entered a room with a big grin on his face...he would light up a room. Andrew was a good son and even better big brother, just ask his sister. Andrew brought joy and laughter to everyone that he met. A rare soul, that will be sorely missed. We miss and love you Haas. We'll see you again in a blink of his eye.
Andrew is survived by his loving mother Julie, stepfather Robert and sister Allysia Loomis.
