Amy Elizabeth Jennings
Age 70, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 15, 2008. She was born April 22, 1938 in Lebanon, TN.
Amy was preceded in death by her father James F. Jennings, her mother, Margaret Force, her step-father, Leonard Force, and by one brother, Kirk Powell Jennings.
Amy is survived by one son, Clay & his wife, Rebecca Engle; one daughter, Sophia White; four grandchildren, Gregory, Jonathan & Seth Engle (and their mother, Diana Osborne) and Amy Kornelis; one brother, James F. Jennings; and by her sister-in-law, Sherry Jennings and her son, Kirk P. Jennings, Jr.
Amy was a member of LifeWay Pentecostals of Miami Valley and retired from Wright-Patterson AFB. She later worked part-time at Echoing Valley Assisted Living Center.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
She will be interred in Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro, TN.
