Amelia Rowley

Amelia Joyce Rowley, age 69 of Vandalia, passed away December 7, 2010. She was born August 26, 1941 in Dayton to the late Winfred and Alcinda Strosnider. In addition to her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Rowley.

Amelia is survived by her children: Cynthia (Marc) Stunich and Doug (Nikki) Rowley; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Amber), Scott (Felicia), Jeannie, Brayden, Gabriel, Eben and Elias; 5 great grandchildren: Austin, Devin, Sabrina, Nikki and Cassy; sisters: Martha Joan Willis and Judy Marie (John) Higginbotham; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, 5-7 pm. Contributions may be made in Amelia's memory to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
