Amber A. Hill

Amber A. Hill, age 72 of Bristol, TN, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1945 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Ted and Yvonne Mothena, and married Carl Wm. Hill on Valentine's Day, 1969.

Amber was a devout Christian and her faith in the Lord helped her throughout her life. She traveled the world as a child due to her father's occupation, graduated high school in Egypt in a class of twelve students, visited Normandy Beach, lived in Paris, Sweden and Holland. Amber was a kind and generous person and would do anything to help anyone. She had a love for her pug Emo, who was as much a child to her as he was her pet. She loved her granddaughter Mackenzie with all her heart, loved her family just as much and will be dearly missed by all.

Amber is survived by a son, Eldon (Dawn) Hill; her father, Ted Mothena; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Hill; a step granddaughter, Emma Fouch; two step grandsons, Cooper and Carter Fouch; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband; a son, Bryan W. Hill; and a brother, Andy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am with Pastor Matt Morgan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Medway Cemetery, Medway, OH.
