JOHNSTON, Alysa Nicole, 32 of Trotwood, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. Alysa was born on May 20, 1988 in Dayton, Ohio.
Alysa leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Nicole Shroyer and her partner Gary Cantrell, three sisters Erica (Devon) Maxwell, Katie (Matt) Shroyer, Natasha (Matt) Johnson, maternal grandparents, Theodore and Judy Rogers, and paternal grandfather Edward Goodrich. Also surviving are her children Amber, Kara, Charles Jr., Michael, Kaitlyn and Ariyah. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Alysa was preceded in death by her husband Charles Johnston, daughter Anaya Johnston, uncles John Brooks, Joe Rogers, and Michael Noble, and paternal grandmother Shirley Goodrich.
She had attended Drexel Church of the Nazarene. Alysa had an infectious smile, her laughter, she was beautiful inside and out with sparkling blue eyes. She could lift us up no matter the circumstances, and was always there for us.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Friday, July 3, 2020 at NEWCOMER CREMATIONS, FUNERALS & RECEPTIONS, Dayton North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton starting at 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Alysa's life at 3:00 pm.
