Alvin Angel

Alvin Angel, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2024, at the age of 54. Born on July 27, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio, Alvin's life was characterized by his vibrant personality, unwavering creativity, and a deep love for those around him.

From an early age, Alvin was known for his sense of humor. He loved to joke around, bring laughter to any gathering, and play pranks that showcased his playful spirit. His approach to life was marked by a profound caring nature, as well as a hardheaded determination that endeared him to many. Alvin was a tireless worker, channeling his creativity into various ventures, most notably his eBay business, where he sold a wide array of items. Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, he cherished moments spent watching movies, particularly those that sent shivers down the spine.

Alvin's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his devoted wife, Renee Angel, their daughter Trinity (Megan Wasner) Angel, and their son Josh Angel. His love extended to their cherished pets, Leelu, the beloved dog, and Peat, the bearded dragon, who both brought him great joy. He is also survived by his sister, Andrea Angel, and his brother, Aaron (Linda) Angel. Additionally, he leaves behind good friends Bruce and Tammy Baughman, along with many nieces and nephews.

Alvin was proud to be a Mason at the Dayton Masonic Temple Lodge #147 for 15 years, a past Master Mason, and a district education officer, a testament to his commitment to community and fellowship. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him, but his spirit will undoubtedly live on in the countless memories shared and the laughter he inspired.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Lilburn Angel and Edith Angel, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. The legacy of a loving husband, father, and friend will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 12:30-2:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The celebration of life will follow at 2:30pm.
