Alva Shook

SHOOK, Alva "Pat" M., age 78, of New Carlisle and formerly of Riverside, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005. She was born September 15, 1926 in Bagdad, KY, the daughter of George and Willanna (Noe) Sutton. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Kent Wilkinson of New Carlisle; four grandchildren, Kris Schacker, Angela, Alex, and Jenna Wilkinson; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ray and Sue Ellen Sutton of Clarksville, OH, and Dwight Workman of Walton, KY; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, George Louis Sutton and Joel L. Sutton; two sisters-in-law, June and Alice Sutton. Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Belle Manor Nursing Home for their loving care.
