Alva C. Rickmon, Jr.

Alva Charles Rickmon, Jr. age 78 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 24, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Alva Sr. and Mary Rickmon.
Alva was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was currently employed at G & F Tool Co. in Dayton and attended the Christian Worship Center in Christiansburg, Ohio. Alva liked working on vehicles doing both mechanics and body work. He also enjoyed fishing and going to the casino.
In addition to his parents, Alva was preceded in death by children, Regina Rickmon, Alvin Rickmon; grandson, Jeffrey Kline; brothers, Robert, Thomas, Ronnie, Kenny, Donnie and Jimmy.
Alva will be missed by his loving wife of almost 34 years, Angela; children, Bobby Dryer, Jimmy Rickmon, Charlotte Kline, Craig Davis, Brian Davis, Heather Fannon and Jason Davis; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Judith Harmon, Patrcia Begley and Mary Bailey; many nieces and nephews and his dogs, Doby and Cody.
Family will receive friends Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
