Alta Sorrell

Alta Sorrell, age 84 of Kettering, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 14, 1930 in West Alexandria, Ohio the daughter of Herman and Hazel Hendrickson. Alta was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 siblings; and her husband, Charles Sorrell.
Alta is survived by her sister, Clarabelle Fultz; nine niece & nephews, Phyllis , Janet, Dale, Cherie, Charlotte, Mark, Rayetta, Barbara, and Terry; brother-in-law, Ray (Connie) Sorrell; care giver, Lauren Stevens; three special friends, Ken, Becky, and Hannah Grushon.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church (125 N. Wilkinson Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402). Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery (West Alexandria). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trinity Community Retirement Home.
