Alta Gilbert

GILBERT, Alta J., age 59, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2005. She was born October 24, 1946 in Middletown, OH, the daughter of Charles C. and Marian (Schmidt) Alexander, Jr. Alta was a faithful servant of Jehovah as a Jehovah's witness of the Northridge congregation. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lowell Gilbert; one daughter, Erica Gest (Jason); one son, Julian Gilbert (Courtnee); three step-children, Priscilla Thoel, Cheryl (Carlos) Guiterrez, and Lowell J. Gilbert (Aprille); one brother, Lyle Alexander; 8 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents. The family would like to express a heart felt thank you to Pat Lawson, Shawntae Moore, Nola Kinzer, Greg McCluskey, April Stringer, Dave Meier, and the staff of Hospice of Dayton.
