Holthaus, Alpha "Jetty", 92, of Dayton, passed away May 7, 2017.
She was born May 29, 1924 in Steamboat Springs, CO to the late Richard and Maude (Dixon) Chrisman.
Jetty was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Daryl Holthaus in July 1986. She is survived by her 3 children, Sherry (Mark) Green, James (Bonnie) Holthaus, Beverly (Ray) Jergens; 4 grandchildren, Tara (Dan) Myers, Julia Holthaus, Daryl (Justine)Holthaus, and Nathan (Paige) Holthaus; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson, and special friend, Bill Hale.
Visitation, Thursday, May 11, 2017, 9:30am until 11:00am at Zion Memorial United Church of Christ, 4000 S. Dixie Dr., Dayton, OH 45439, where Funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Burial at David's Cemetery.
Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to People and Paws, 2346 Valley Pike, Dayton OH 45404, in Jetty's memory.
