Alpha Crowell, Jr.

Alpha Aaron Crowell, Jr., age 64, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at his home. He was born January 25, 1944 in Pulaski, VA, the son of Alpha A. & Josie B. Crowell. He was a veteran, serving both in the US Army and Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Douglas Hoback and Robert Franklin Crowell; and his nephew, Michael Aaron Pummill. Survivors include his sisters, Mary Griesheimer of Xenia and Patricia Pummill of Xenia. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers. memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
