Alonzo C. Parker

PARKER, Alonzo C. "Lonnie", age 79 of Beavercreek was born November 14, 1926 and passed away at Heartland of Beavercreek on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dorothy Parker and son Michael J. Parker. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie (Benchic) Parker; son Dan Parker; daughters: Patty Parker, Nancy Parker, Connie (Andy) Miller; brother Bill (Barbara) Parker of Columbus, OH; grandchildren: Christy Parker, Joey Parker, Crystal Parker, Randy (Monica) Miller; great-grandchildren: Kierah, Deavyn, Jazmin, Kailey; many brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Lonnie was a member of Ascension Church, American Legion #763, F.O.E. #321, and Milton Athletic Club. A special note of thanks & gratitude to Heartland of Beavercreek for their care and friendship. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM Sunday, March 5th at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.). Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Monday, March 6th at the Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering, Fr. Chris Worland, celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lonnie's memory to Ascension Church.
