Alma L. Davis, 93, of Dayton, passed away on December 6, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on December 4, 1921 to the late Louis and Frieda (Fortener) Henn in Dayton, OH.
Alma retired from Sears and Roebucks. She was an avid crafter who loved to knit and crochet.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Joseph G. Davis; sisters, Vera, Ruth, Roberta; brothers, Raymond, Elmer, Norman, Ralph, Louis "Butch"; 5 brothers-in-law.
Alma is survived by her loving family including sisters, Rita, Thelma, Gertrude, Lucille; a special neighbor, Grover Allen; numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at the St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd, Huber Heights, Ohio, with Father Earl F. Simone officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 AM at Church. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH.
