Alma J. Hillard

HILLARD, Alma J., age 73, of Riverside and formerly of Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008. She was born May 28, 1935. Alma was very active with the Council of the Blind in Florida where she served as president and worked for many years as a medical transcriber. She is survived by one brother, Don Hillard of Dayton; nieces and nephews, Gina (Donnie) Brown, Chris (Tricia) Hillard, and Todd Hillard; many great-nieces and great-nephews; good friends, Preston Lowery, Jim Wiltsee, and Gene Roberts. She was preceded in death by both parents, Lester and Una Dell (Stone) Hillard and one son, Johnny. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2008 from 6-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Anderson officiating.
