Alma Ruth Collins, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, has gone to be with the Lord this March 29th.
Ruth is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Tom Morawski) Collins-Morawski of Dayton Ohio, and Rochelle (Dylan Posa) Collins-Posa of Lebanon, OH; brothers, Dottie Brogan of Texas, Glenn Brogan of Dayton, and Dean Brogan of Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Clyde) Head Punt, Margaret (Dave) Ayers, and Betty Sue (Gary) Johnson; as well as four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Born in Morristown TN, Ruth later moved to the Dayton area where she met her beloved husband, Ralph. Together they built a life filled with a loving family and a large network of friends.
Ruth was an avid gardener, as she and Ralph's house were always adorned by a myriad of beautiful outdoor flowers, trees, and plants.
Her green thumb was matched by her exceptional quilting skills, and generosity as she gave many a quilt to friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3rd from 12 PM to 1 PM with services beginning at 1 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville, Ohio (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, OH.
