Allie V. Blanks, age 87 of Dayton, passed away December 6, 2014. She was born November 2, 1927 in Sandgap, KY to the late Henry and Mary Spivey. In addition to her parents, Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Blanks.
Allie is survived by her children: Terry Blanks, Imogene Clark, Elizabeth (Don) Neal, Barbara (Phil) Bradley and Rebecca (Jeff) Melton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 9:30-10:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
