WALLINGFORD, Allen Douglas
Age 77 of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton.
He is survived by E. Jean, his loving wife of nearly 50 years, his sons David and wife Lori Wallingford and granddaughter Annemarie of Kettering and Kenneth Wallingford of Troy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Doug retired from the US Air Force as a Lt. Colonel in 1973 after serving 21 years. After his military service he enjoyed a second career with SRL and Logicon before retiring in 1985. Doug was a devoted husband and father and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will gather from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 17, to celebrate Doug's life.
In lieu of flowers, tax exempt contributions may be made to Kettering Family Scholarship for Geriatric Medicine in Doug's memory at WSU Foundaton,( 3640 Colonel Glen Highway, Dayton, Ohio 45435).
