Allen "Buddy" Eades, age 80 of Xenia, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Greene Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1942 in LaFollette, Tennessee the son of Carl Eades and Ophelia Hill (Nelson).
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Eades, Ophelia Hill (Nelson); sister, Bonnie "Sue" Eades; and "son" Thomas "Tommy" R. Eades.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Juanita Eades; sister, Carrie Boncutter; grandson, Ryan Eades; four step-children, Philip Hammond, April Hammond, Lori Taylor, and Tony Lee Henderson; godson, Aaron Corbett; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Arianna, Kristianna, and Cristian Corbett. Buddy is also survived by numerous family and friends.
He was a lovable, kindhearted, and straight forward guy. Buddy loved guns, hunting, and running Beagles. He also loved going to his grandkids sporting events. The days on his 5.5 acres were spent tending to his horses, chickens, ducks, genies, and one thousand dogs. Buddy was one of the most stubborn men to deal with at times; if you knew him, he was just a big teddy bear that would give you the shirt off his back or his last penny in his pocket. He made sure that his opinion was always heard if you liked it or not. Buddy was one of the hardest working men you will ever meet. In his prime, he worked two jobs all while maintaining his farm and raising his adopted son and godson. Buddy loved to talk about 'THE OLD DAYS" he could go on and on about what "HE SAID ... SHE SAID... & I SAID". The most important thing to Buddy was his dogs. He ALWAYS had that one dog that would be his shadow. His attachment to animals has always been strong. His last wishes were to see his grand babies graduating high school. Buddy is loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
