Allen Emile Chambliss

Allen Emile Chambliss, age 85 of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his residence . He was born May 20, 1934 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Leroy and Esther Chambliss.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Christie Pendell.
Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Army; he was very active in his church and as a handyman doing whatever needed to be done. He retired in 1996 from Super Value as a truck driver.
Allen is survived by his wife of 68 years Patricia; sons, Jerald (Karen) Chambliss and Allen Emile (Sherry) Chambliss, Jr.; brother-In-Law, Robert (Kay) Dawson and Michael (Evelyn) Dawson; sister-in-law, Diane (Emmit) Hall; sisters, Eileen G, Linda (Larry)and Vicky; grandchildren, Jerald T. Chambliss, Joshua W. Chambliss, Amy M. and Daniel Chambliss; 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00 am Ledbetter Road Church of God 325 Ledbetter Rd Xenia, OH 45385. Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2019 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm also at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made in Allen's name to Ledbetter Rd Church of God.
