Allean Givens received a call on December 14, 2016. A call that she couldn't refuse. A call that would lead her home to see the Lord. A call that meant family she has long missed would greet her. A call that meant no more suffering and an inheritance of the best set of wings from our Lord and Savior. Her seventy nine years on this earth were lived in love. She loved deeply, cooked like a country gourmet chef, loved crossword puzzles and had the best hugs and kisses you could ever receive. She attended Church of God on Bauer Avenue in Kettering.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Julie Mullins; son, Tommy Patton; and sister, Lexi Holbrook.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Cecil Givens; daughters, Della Brewer, Benita Hatfield; son, Ronnie Givens; daughter in law, Yvonne Patton; granddaughters, Jennifer (Jason) Seaquist, Angie (Rob) Abney; grandson, Gunner Hatfield; great grandchildren, Nathan, Alena, Meela, Saela, Pax, Prim, Wyatt, Gabe, Ava; sisters, Zenith Camper, Patty Cole; brothers, Clyde (Lynee) Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Phillip Mullins, David Mullins; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 - 1:30pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm with Pastor Harold Allen officiating. Burial at Willowview Cemetery.
