Allan R. Overly

Overly, Allan R., age 83, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the VA Medical Center. Allan was a United States Navy Veteran proudly serving during WWII as a member of the "SeeBees". He was also a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Allan is survived by his son: Michael Overly; daughters: Jennifer Woods and Lorrie Bess; and his grandchildren: Christopher, Lamia, Roman, Steven & Jenny. He was preceded in death by his wife: Theresa; parents: Evertt & Minnie Overly; and his daughter: Patsy Overly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Gary Favor officiating. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens in Brookville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
