Alissa D. King, age 34 of Dayton, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2014. She was born July 31, 1979 in Dayton to Robert and Cynthia King.
She is survived by her parents; sister, Erin (Steve) Russell; nieces, Madelyn, Jenna and Juliette; paternal grandparents, John and Rosa King; maternal grandmother, Margaret Barney; beloved pets, Charlie and Luca and extended family and friends.
Alissa graduated from Stebbins High School and received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Dayton. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and 3 nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be me to an animal rescue charity of your choice.
