Aline Fields

Fields, Aline, 88, completed her celebration of life on Sunday, December 21, 2008. A native of Louisville, KY, she resided in Dayton, OH for 63 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Fields. She was a member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of St. Peters Claber #353, AARP and retired from the Dayton Board of Education in 1993. She is survived by her six children, Elsie M. Williams, Robert F. Fields, Charles L. (Carol Earley) Fields, Fred (Jalma) Fields, all of Dayton, William Sonny Moore of Toledo, OH and Linda E. Trabue of Louisville, KY, and her eldest sister, Lucille S. Rapier of Louisville, KY. She has fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 23 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM, followed by her funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Green Castle Cemetery following the service.
