Alice "Blanche" Wells

Alice "Blanche" Wells, age 79, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born January 3, 1941 in Norton, Virginia the daughter of the late Milford and Eula (Hensley) Roberts.
Blanche loved quilting and crocheting, especially making baby blankets for family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening flowers and listening to Elvis. Mostly, she loved spending time with her grandsons, L.A and Morgan.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Russell Lee Wells, Sr.; parents, Wade Milford Roberts and Eula Hazel Roberts; siblings, Archie, Ray and Earl Roberts and Betty Sue Clisso.
Blanche is survived by her loving children, Russell "Rusty" Wells, Jr. and Kathy (Jim) Hannahan; beloved grandsons, Lucas "L.A." (Jenna) Thiel and Morgan Russell Lee Wells; great-grandchildren, Larkyn and Greyson Thiel; siblings, Buford and Bobby Roberts and Bonnie Dorton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Blanche will be laid to rest next to her husband, Russell at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the hospice of the donor's choice or the Alzheimer's Association.
