Alice Jean Shade

Alice Jean Shade, age 85, of Dayton, passed away September 18, 2021. She was born March 5, 1936 in Montgomery County, Ohio to the late Clifford and Elizabeth Moore. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shade; and sister, Virginia Ling.

Alice is survived by her children: Kathleen Williams, Alice Brewer, Donald Shade Jr. and Terry Shade; 9 grandchildren: Tether Ringler, Samuel Sizemore, Mitchell Spencer Jr., Ashley Welsh, Jared Williams, Erica Williams-Center, Jonas Brewer, Kimber Wildenhaus and Aubrey Shade; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Alice loved her family more than anything in the world and will be missed.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm.
