Alice Rosella Steck

Alice Rosella Steck (nee Kleimeier). Born on June 20, 1913, in Dayton, Ohio. Died at the age of 100 years old on October 28, 2013. Rosella was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George L. Steck, her daughter Sharon R. (Steck) Parshall, her son Laurence D. Steck, and her daughter-in-law Kathleen A. (Kalter) Steck. She is survived by her sister Cecelia "Lady" Nienaber, daughter Sandra S. (Richard) Henry, sons Raymond E. (Shitsuko) Steck and Mark A. Steck, daughter-in-law Janet L. Steck, and son-in-law James R. Parshall. Also surviving are her grandsons Jeffrey A. Steck, Daniel A. Steck, Joshua P. (Heather) Steck, and Andrew J. (Jenn Kerlin) Steck, and great-grandchildren Robert J. Steck, Sydney K. Steck, Sophia Rosella Steck and Samuel A. Steck. Our Mom was always there for us, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449. Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends AT CHURCH on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Montgomery County Humane Society.
