Alice Mae Scroggy
Age 86, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, at The Hospice of Dayton.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bobby Scroggy.

Alice is survived by five children, Bobby Jr. (Carol) Scroggy, Mary (Marion) Birt, Patricia Benda, John "Tom" (Barbara) Scroggy and Michael (Paula) Scroggy; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, one sister, Ellen Middleton; one brother, James (Volena) Roeckner; and by her extended family & many good friends.

Alice was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. She retired from Elder-Beerman's with 30 years of service.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Satish Joseph at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Road, Dayton. Interment will follow at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia.

If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Alice to The Hospice of Dayton.
