Alice Irene VanHoose, age 93, of Dayton, OH and formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013.
She was born on February 5, 1920 in Paintsville, KY to the late William & Jessie Stafford.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard VanHoose.
She is survived by her children, Bernard Roger VanHoose and his wife Cathy Montoya-VanHoose and Judy Stewart and her husband Dave Stewart; grandchildren, David Stewart, Todd Stewart and Chris VanHoose; great-grandchildren, Austin Stewart, Rachel Stewart, Lori VanHoose, C.R. VanHoose and Tripp & Trace VanHoose; sisters, Shirley Litterst and Ruth Ellars; and loving dog, Stewie.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, OH.
