Alice Hunt

October 14, 1919 — February 2, 2012

Alice M. Hunt, age 92 of Centerville, passed away on Thursday February 2, 2012. She was born on October 14, 1919 to the late Walter and Nettie Burnet. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Hunt; two sons, Elwood M. Hunt (Phyllis) and Richard L. Hunt.

Alice is survived by her loving children, Pastor Marvin F. Hunt (Judy) of Columbia, SC, Eleanor L. Bastin (Lowell) of Beavercreek, OH and Beverly A. Saliba (George) of Union, KY; 11 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; other family members and good friends.

Alice lived in Centerville for 25 years. She retired from Kettering Hospital, where she worked as a Switch Board Operator, after 20 years of devoted service. She also worked for several years at Sycamore Hospital as the front desk receptionist.  Alice had a love for traveling and she was also and avid golfer and bowler.

A funeral service will be held on Monday February 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia, OH.
