She was born February 22, 1932 in Altro, KY to the late Whick and Reva Deaton.
Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Samie Gross, sisters, Oma Shaw, Opal Turner, Vena Turner, Glenna Turner, Malta Raleigh, brothers, Charles (Chad) Deaton, Allie (Buster) Deaton Ray Deaton, and Edgar Deaton.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Robinson of Miamisburg, OH; sons, Randall (Diane) Gross of Franklin, OH, Jeff (Karen) Gross of Largo, FL, Whick (Betty) Gross of Lebanon, OH; daughter, Reva Pittman of Miamisburg, OH; 2 sisters-in-law, Georgia Deaton of Franklin, OH, Patricia Deaton of Miamisburg, OH; 8 grandchildren, Randy, Kevin, Barbara, Shawn, Jon, Brandon, Ben, and Blair; 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will have graveside services on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio.
An expression of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Alice's memory.
