Alice (Eileen) Shriver

Alice (Eileen) Shriver, 85, of Dayton, passed away June 28, 2015.
She was born February 9, 1930 in Winchester, Ohio, the daughter of James and Eula Mae (Evans) Black.
She was a graduate of Winchester High School. She retired from Wright –Patt AFB in 1992 after 38 years of service. She volunteered at Miami Valley Hospital for 16 years.
Alice is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harry; sons, Steven (Cheryl) Shriver, Douglas Shriver; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Chad), Steven E. (Carri), Ryan, Melissa; 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and special friend, Helen Schaffer.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Eldridge and brother, Cleo Black.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 from 12:30PM until 1:30 PM service time at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio.
Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
