Alice E. Wolfrum

WOLFRUM, Alice E. age 74 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at home in her daughters arms.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank E. Wolfrum Jr, her parents Leo and Mary (Hery) Miller, her sister Mary Ann Story and brother-in-law Jewell Story. She is survived by her son Frank P. Wolfrum, her daughter Elizabeth (David) Potter; grandchildren Jeremy (Christina) Lipker, Ashley (Jason) Hazelbaker, Aaron (Courteney) Potter and Kevin Wolfrum; great grandchildren Johannemarie, and Sarah Hazelbaker and Isaac Potter; brothers Richard (Judy) Miller, Henry (Ethel) Miller; sister Barbara (Charles) Tudor; special cousin Carol (John) Van Voohris; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Alice was a graduate of The University of Dayton and The College of Mount St. Joseph, where she received her teaching degree. She retired from Crestview Manor in Beavercreek and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed giving to the many charities she supported.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, September 9, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church 310 Allen Street Dayton, with Fr. Tom Gaeke celebrant. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
