Alice Mae Crawford

September 22, 1926 — March 6, 2025

Dayton

Alice Mae Crawford, born on September 22, 1926, in Dayton, Ohio, gracefully left this world on March 6, 2025. A dedicated soul, she forged a commendable career, retiring from her roles at General Motors and NCR, where her hardworking nature and keen sense of duty shone brightly.

Alice was admired not just for her professional contributions but also for her caring spirit. She was also a devoted member of the Bradford Church of the Nazarene.

Alice is survived by her devoted sister, Joann Crawford, and her nephews, Byron Roberts, Rick (Kathy) Roberts, Leroy Crawford, and Jimmy Crawford.

She joins her parents, Harry and Josephine Stout, along with her siblings: Orville Crawford, Walter Crawford, Russell Crawford, Edna Myhnier, Julia Crawford, Naomi Barker, and Ruth Roberts, who preceded her in death. Their memories will forever linger, intertwining with hers as she finds peace in the embrace of those who have gone before her.

Alice Mae Crawford will be deeply missed, a gentle soul who leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and enduring strength. Though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Services will be held privately by the family. She will be interred at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton (link provided below).

"The Lord is My Shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil: My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever....."
