Alfred Frantz

Frantz, Alfred J., formerly of Russells Point, Ohio, age 86, passed away on October 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Edith and brother, Jerry. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann (Korte); brother, Bud Frantz; sisters, Mary Ellen (Bill) Ditzel, Betty Catherine (Al) Elter, and Jeanette (Mark) Stiece; children, John (Gwen) Frantz, Judy (Gary) Kremer, Jerry (Alice) Frantz, Jayne (David) Cash, and Joan (Perry) Clifford; grandchildren, Tammy, Raymond, Brian, Angela, Lisa, Michael, Jennifer, Stephanie, Lori, and Ryan; 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. In addition to owning his own business, Frantz Furniture TV and Appliance, he was also an electrical engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 38 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Mary Help of Christian Church, 954 N. Maple Avenue, Fairborn, Ohio 45324. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice of Dayton.
