Alexis Thomas

Alexis Noelle Thomas, age 6, became God's newest and most beautiful little angel on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Lexi is survived by her loving parents, Ted and Kara Thomas, her devoted NaNa , Connie Smith, big brother, Christopher Thomas, age 7, and cousins, Justin, 8, and Jaiden Green, 4. She leaves behind a host of devastated family members including her dedicated Auntie Tia (Kim Costancio) and Uncle Fred, Joe and Melissa Flores, her Auntie, Ashley Green, great-grandmothers, Jolene Laffey and Ruth McCampbell of Crossville, TN, and cousins, Jon Tuggle, Anthony Costancio and Cheyanna Turner, who had a special love and bond with Lexi.

Lexi was preceded in death by her grandpa, David L. Smith.

Lexi also leaves many other faithful family members and friends too numerous to mention, in particular Lexi's Facebook group, Lexi's Friends, whose many members have prayed so diligently and fervently for her recovery. They have given us renewed faith in both God and in humanity. Special mention to Rozeita Thomas, our group's faithful hostess and a very special friend of Lexi's whose strong faith never wavered. The hundreds of cards from Christ Fellowship Baptist Church of London, KY, that were sent weekly were a great comfort to us. In our greatest loss, we have found so much love, faith and beauty in others and gained so many friends and we thank you all.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road on Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 11 am to 1 pm with services at 1 pm. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle.
