Lanning, Alexis, "Lexi", age 8, of Xenia, passed away at home on April 14, 2018.
She arrived on June 11, 2009 full of joy and love. To the delight of her teachers and friends she attended McKinley Elementary. Lexi had courageously battled cancer since July of 2016. Lexi knew no strangers and loved everyone. She met each day with a smile and love for life.
Lexi will be dearly missed by her loving family, her dad, Nathan, her mom, Latosha, brother, Jesse, sister, Elizabeth, brother, Jaxxon, grandparents, Brad, Leah, Tina; great-grandparents, Dusty and Linda, Daniel, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends ,along with her beloved dog, Midnight.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Newcomer, Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, where funeral service will follow at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Lexi's honor as she always thought of others first.
