Your Hug Meant the World
Nobody else held me so tight
Or made me feel so right
No one's eyes shined so bright with love
As my Mom, who is now high above.
Alexis ("Lexi") Jo Farmer, 34, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on July 27, 2022. Lexi is preceded in death by her sister, Lizzie Bush. She is survived by her daughter, Allison Elizabeth Farmer; parents, Dan and Sue Neuenschwander; "Ohio parents", Zeke and Lauren Isaacs; siblings Danielle, Nicole, David and Anna Neuenschwander, as well as the Isaacs and Ericson Families.
Allison was the biggest love and most important part of Lexi's life. She worked very hard to ensure a good life for Allison. Lexi also had a love for animals (especially her dogs, hummingbirds and sea turtles), enjoyed doing crafts with Allison and came up with all kinds of practical ideas to solve problems. Her nickname at home was "MacGyver". She actually enjoyed putting all those Christmas toys together. She always had interesting and random facts to share such as, turtles eat hibiscus and you can make sugar out of pine cones. She was an avid Harry Potter fan and was caught up on all the books and movies before she passed. She was much loved and will be missed greatly by her friends and family.
Lexi's family would like to thank her friends and co-workers as well as the owners and management of Bonbright Distributors, Inc. for the continued support and care given to Lexi and Allison. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten and means more to us than you'll ever know. The family would also like to thank Dr. Minia Hellan and Dr. Roxana Aguirre of the Kettering Cancer Center for working so hard to keep her with us for as long as possible. Thank you to Hospice of Dayton for helping Lexi and the family through the last days of her life.
A Celebration of Lexi's Life will be held at the Isaacs' home at 2491 Liberty Ellerton Road, Dayton, Ohio 45417 on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Allison has requested that guests try to wear blue, her Mom's favorite color and also the color of colon cancer awareness. Please note, GPS sometimes put you on the road behind us. If that happens, just go around the block. Casual attire.
