Alexander L Chapman, 70, of Trotwood, passed peacefully January 19, 2016. Alexander was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 21, 1945. He was a dedicated and baptized Jehovah's Witness for 50 years. He served as an Elder in the Trotwood Congregation. He worked for many years as a driver for Heidelberg Distributing. Alexander graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1964.
His family would like to thank Dr. M. Hamilton, Dr. T. Carmody and other medical professionals at Good Sam for the care given over the years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Chapman; brother, Matt Chapman; and daughter in law, Janae Chapman.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Ann Chapman; mother, Mary Chapman; sons, Christopher (Twanta) Chapman, Corey (Markita) Chapman; step grandchildren, DaVeon, Brooklyn; special friends, Eddie Williams, Charlie Sunkett, The Allenwood Brothers; and many other special relatives and friends.
Family will receive guests from 12 - 2pm on Saturday, January 30, 2015 at Trotwood Kingdom Hall, 465 West Main St., where a memorial service will follow at 2pm with Brother Skip Jackson officiating.
