Alex Young

YOUNG, Alex age 67 formerly of Hazard KY, passed away at his residence on Thurs. (10/16/03) in Dayton. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Willie and Rachel (Gayheart) Young; 2 sisters, Leatrice Humphery and Brenda Young. Alex is survived by his wife of 38 yrs. Betty; 1 son, Alex Young II, 2 daughters, Linda (Terrence) Shea, and Tina (Larry) Looney; 8 step-children, Mark Winhoven, Elizabeth Nsheiwat, John (Tonya) Winhoven, Joyce (Jack) Burnett, Terry Winhoven, Leo (Mary) Winhoven, Carol (Bob) Henson, Jim (Wanda) Winhoven; 35 granchildren; 17 gt. grandchildren; 3 brothers, David Young, Roy (Elaine) Young, Seldon (Debbie) Young; 4 sisters, Bessie Hackler, Hulda Young, Ida (Clifford) Couch, Eliza Densic; numerous nieces and nephews; 5 special cousins, Astor Combs, Jessie (Earl) Bowling, Truman (Myra) Combs, Ruby (JB) Jones, Bernice Grigsby; 2 special friends, Jiles (Julie) Bowling; and a host of other family and friends. Family will receive freinds from 10 am-12pm on Saturday 10/18/03 at the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd. Rev. Clyde Waites will be officiating. Services will be held in Hazard, KY.
