Aleitha Summers

Audry Aleitha Summers, age 88 of Dayton, passed away December 14, 2010. She was born June 13, 1922 in Red Bluff, Alabama to the late William and Adra Anderson. In addition to her parents, Aleitha was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Summers; sister, Rachel Terhune; and brother, Gerth Anderson.

Aleitha is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Peggy Summers and Bob and Becky Summers; 2 grandchildren: Billy Summers and Jim (Lizzie) Summers; 3 great grandchildren: Grace, Zachary and Jimmie; brother, Harold Anderson (Wilma); sister, Francis Ping; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday. Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
