Alda Hite

HITE, Alda (Jean) 81, of Huber Heights; passed away unexpectedly Saturday 8/7/04 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jean was born April 1st, 1923. She was a reliable & diligent employee of 30 yrs. of Andrews Hearing Aids., and the friendly voice on the phone to a loyal Following of customers. Outwardly, Jean appeared to be a soft spoken, unassuming woman. But to those who knew and loved her, she was an anchor-kindhearted, quick to laugh at herself, devoted to her family & a trusted friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Gladys Cassady; her former husband, and life long friend R.W.; 1 granddaughter, Carla; 1 sister, Arlene. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Branford and her 2 sons, Raymond Jr. (Leanna) of Columbus & James (Susan) Hite of Tampa Flordia; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 gt. great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends. Memorial services will be held 6:30 pm Friday, 8/13/04 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive visitors from 5 pm until time of service. We owe a debt of gratitude to the medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital. Their passion for their calling and commitment to care was evident in every aspect of their treatment of our mother, and continues to provide comfort to our family. Though our grief is intense and our loss immeasurable, her impact on our lives will remain long. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
