Albert L. Renner

February 19, 1926 — March 23, 2017

Albert L. Renner, age 91 of Huber Heights, passed away March 23, 2017. He was born February 19, 1926 in Uniontown, PA to the late Arthur L. and Alice E. Renner. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Robert Renner and Darrel Renner; 2 sisters: Winona Vilsack and Wanda Petrovic; and one great-grandson, Noah.

Al is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Renner; sons: Al Renner and Bill Renner; grandchildren: Will (Sarah) Renner and Curtis (Nicole) Renner; great-grandchildren: Brianna, Curtis, Zoey, Ellie and Ben; many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.

Al was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving on the front lines of the 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division during WWII. He earned the EAME Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Silver Star, WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal and the Bronze Star.

Visitation will be held from 3-4 pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
