Albert E. Myers

Albert Eugene Myers of Tipp City, Ohio went to be with the Lord at 4:09 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Kettering Health Dayton.

He was born November 9, 1943 in Piqua Ohio to the late Cleophus Myers and Glenzetta Reaves (Hal D. Reaves). Albert graduated from Piqua High School. He retired from the US Navy, Copeland Industries and 42 years at Dayton VA Medical Center. Albert was a loveable, kind, honest, and selfless person. His passion was cooking and loved to feed you. First and foremost, he loved the Lord. He adored his loving wife of 22 years, Lizett Myers, his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and dog Coco. To know him was to love him.

Albert is survived by his wife, Lizett Myers; sons:  David Myers, Derek Hawkins (Terra) and Deontae Hawkins (Sasha); brothers, Timothy Reaves (Gail), and Greg Reaves; daughters Jacquelyn Myers Moore, Jessica Myers, Ashley Hawkins, and D'Naizha Pooler; grandchildren Jasmine, Shawn (Courtney), Owen, Krystiania, Alaya, Alexander, Quentin, Quincy Jr., Dayone, D'Myis, Brennan, True, Tai'Lynn and Sayo; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends, as well as special relatives Diane Wells, Willa Mae, Danliy'El, Illaya, Sheila Jernigan, Daaimiah Frazier, and Justin Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Alicia Myers; sister Cathy Reaves-Franklin; and brother, Jonathan Hal Reaves.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10-11am with a funeral service beginning at 11am, at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton OH. Burial to follow at 1pm at Dayton National Cemetery.
