Albert L. Manis

Albert L. Manis, age 82 of Dayton, passed away surrounded by his family at home on October 27, 2016. He was born in Sevierville, TN on July 15, 1934 to the late John Elmer and Nora Lucinda Manis. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his siblings, Gladys, Sister Mary Manis, Lillian, Junior, Burl, Jack and Keith.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Judy A. Manis; sons, Mark Manis and Steve (Heather) Manis; grandchildren, Derek Manis, Carly Manis, Haley Manis and Michael Manis; sister, Billie Jean (Mack) Braun and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Albert is a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He worked and retired from materials management at General Motors after 33 years of service. He was an avid tennis player, enjoyed bicycling and walking his dog.
