Albert E. Driver, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 24, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born to the late John and Alta Driver on May 25, 1925 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Al graduated from McClain High school in Greenfield, Ohio and later went on to serve in The United States Army in WWII receiving the Purple Heart and Silver Star. After moving to Dayton, Ohio he was employed at Rike's for 35 years where he met the love of his life of 59 years, Marion (Sharkey) Driver. Al is survived his daughter Shelle Bergeron; granddaughter Nikki (Jason) Rausch; Grandson Matt (Kathy Shore) Bergeron; 4 great grandchildren Mackenzie Rausch, Kalli Rausch, Killian Rausch, Landon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion; parents; a sister Virginia and twin sister Alberta. A memorial gathering will be at Holy Trinity Church Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 10:00am-11:00am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Holy Trinity Church.
