Albert Clinton Tays

TAYS, Albert "Clinton", age 91, of West Carrollton, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born Oct. 14, 1917 in Monteray, TN. Albert was an Army Veteran of World War II, who was proud to have served his country. Albert worked at General Motors in Moraine from where he retired after 35 years. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie & Mattie Tays; brother, General Tays; sister, Ever Walker, and his loving wife of 65 years, Illa Demple Tays. He is survived by his two children, Linda Johnson & husband, Ed of Waynesville and Larry Tays of West Carrollton; 6 grandsons; 8 great grandchildren; 6 nieces; 8 nephews, as well as a host of other family members and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the funeral home.
